Polly & Andrew | DIY Garden Wedding

I had the pleasure of capturing this incredible DIY garden/tipi wedding, following a beautiful church ceremony in South Yorkshire.

It was the loveliest kind of wedding for me because everyone treated me with warmth and affection. We were really made to feel part of the family throughout the whole day. (although perhaps it helps that I unloaded the dishwasher later in the day!)

When I arrived in the morning, most of the garden had been set up and it looked amazing! Huge stretch tipi tents fit perfectly in the walled garden complete with fairy lights and rustic wooden pillars. I thought the wooden chairs with their hessian sash completed the look perfectly. So much thought and detail had gone into the entire set up which I loved. From the gin table names, to the cake of cheese, and the balloons and their gin weights. The whole day was unique and therefore reflected Polly & Andrew perfectly (they're gin-aholics!).

I loved the relaxed home reception venue and got some great shots of people's reactions to the magician P&A had hired. The group shots were hilarious. I had so much fun photographing everyone.  And the "formals" even ended with the bride and groom being picked up and held laying out sideways. The best men's speech, in it's rhyming verses was unrivalled and had everyone (especially me!) suitably impressed and entertained!

It was such a joy for me to be a part of Mr & Mrs Buckingham's special day and was entertaining from start to finish. Take a look at some highlights of their day below:
