What is a boudoir photoshoot?
A boudoir photoshoot is a fun, confidence-boosting experience that’s all about feeling amazing and enjoying every moment.You don’t need to know how to pose or feel confident yet — that’s my job.As a boudoir photographer in Leeds, I create relaxed, intimate portrait photography sessions in a calm, private studio experience that feels indulgent, empowering and truly unforgettable. This experience can be just for you, or something to share with a partner. Either way, I want you to look at photos of yourself, and truly love what you see. Hey! I'm Laura,Your Leeds boudoir photographer.
If you’ve found yourself here, there’s a good chance you’re feeling curious…excited… and probably a little nervous too. I completely understand because almost every woman who walks through my studio door tells me she felt exactly the same.
Growing up in the 90s and 00s, I watched women constantly being told they needed to be thinner, younger, prettier or somehow “better”. We were taught to criticise ourselves before anyone else had the chance to.
I truly believe it’s one of the reasons so many incredible women struggle to see themselves the way everyone else sees them.
That’s why I love boudoir photography so much.
For me, this has never just been about creating beautiful photographs. It’s about creating an experience where you feel comfortable, supported and celebrated exactly as you are. It’s about helping you see yourself with kinder eyes, and leaving my studio standing a little taller than when you arrived.
You don’t need to know how to pose. You don’t need to lose weight first. You don’t need to be confident before you walk through the door.
That’s my job.
I’ll guide you through every pose, every expression and every step of the day, so all you need to do is show up.
Watching women see their photographs for the very first time is, without question, my favourite part of this job. Seeing the smile, the tears, the disbelief and hearing, “Is that really me?” never gets old.
I feel incredibly lucky that so many women trust me with such an important experience, and I can’t wait to welcome you into the studio too.

FAQs
When you book in with me, you’ll receive a full & detailed prep guide. It talks you through EVERYTHING you need to know such as how to look and feel your best for your shoot, advice on your boudoir photoshoot wardrobe, plus those all important on-the-day tips, such as not wearing anything tight that will leave marks on your skin for the photoshoot!
When you book a boudoir photoshoot with us, the studio is yours exclusively for the whole day. You’ll be pampered with professional hair and make up first, then we’ll chat through outfit options and then begin the photoshoot! I’ll talk you through all the posing and exactly what to do – you don’t have to worry about a thing!
Your day with us will look like this:
10am Arrival
10am – 11am – Hair & Make Up
11am – 1pm – Photoshoot
1pm – 2pm – Lunch (you leave the studio to grab a bite to eat whilst I get your images ready to view)
2pm – 3pm – Image Viewing
3pm – All Done!

Ideally 6-8 weeks before you need your images. This gives us time to schedule your photoshoot, and if you’re opting for something like an album, it allows time for the production turnaround. If you’ve got less than 6 weeks until you need your photos, please still get in touch!
We’ll aim to shoot 3 outfits, but bring as many as you’d like with you. I’ve had clients turn up to the studio with a suitcase that looks like they’re moving in for the week! I’ll help you narrow down your options to the best ones. I also have bits at the studio that you can use such as stockings/heels/body chains/bodysuits.
